Welcome

The way we actually found one another was when Jessi had moved From Sioux Falls to Sioux City.  While I was still working many hours at Vzio, I had been on eharmony to meet some new people, since i worked so much. Jessi had joined to try to meet some new people in the area.  That is how we started talking to each other.  We had our first date after about a week or so.  I had set it up so we went out to bowl as our first outing.  I had started bowling that year some, more due to my friends, and thought that it may have given me a slight edge, but Jessi responded to that idea with "is it alright for me to bring my own bowling ball?" All I thought after that was "I'm in some trouble" and I was right, she crushed me quite well.  We had planned to originally go to Olive Garden, but when we arrived, we discovered that there was at least a 45 minute wait, so we decided to try some place else for dinner.  Then we went to our first of many movies together(New Years Eve). And that had ended our first date.  Afterwards I didnt know when we would plan our next date, but we were texting one another the next day, and she had mentioned that she was making some soup for dinnner and needed a can of beer for it. I told her that I could bring one over and she said that would be fine with her. You might say that was the first of many meals that she cooked for me.  After that we were pretty much inseparable. We were either texting, calling, or with one another everyday.

The day came when I had finally gathered up the courage to propose.  I had thought about it for many weeks prior, getting consults from my friends.  I had purchased her ring from her uncle's place of work, Faini. The plan for the proposal was to pop the question at some moment when she least expected it, and possibly with her family in attendance.  I had originally planned to ask her about a week or two after receiving the ring, but after speaking to her family, I had realized that my windows of opportunity went from a week or more, down to the next day since her family was going to be out of town for the next several weeks.  I had told Jessi that we should go the the Japanese flower garden for some family pictures. When everyone arrived, we had taken some pictures, then it came to just Jessi and myself on a bridge over the waterfall. Then I got down on one knee and pulled out the ring.  She was so excited that she had started to shake in excitement.

The date has been set for our big day.  It is to be on July 19, 2014 in Sioux City, since that is where it had all started. The ceremony is to be held at the Orpheum Theatre, and the reception is to be held at the Masonic Temple.  We are hoping to be surrounded by many friends and family.  We have finally decided on our honeymoon.  We plan to go to Hawaii, one of our dream places to visit.  As for our future, we are not sure exactly of what is to come, but it will all be quite interesting, as long as we are together.  What we know so far is our families have some plans for our future.
